Puffin Maritime Ltd is the trading name of Innes Brown and offers independent and cost-effective Marine Consultancy Services and Marine Warranty Services to the marine offshore oil & gas, renewables, maritime and shipping.
Based in Edinburgh, Scotland with immediate access to the Scotland ports of Grangemouth, Leith, Rosyth, Nigg, Invergordon, Fraserburgh, Peterhead, Aberdeen, Dundee and Montrose and with easy access to road, rail and airport links that support a global reach.
Established in 2022 by Innes Brown, a Master Mariner with over 40 years’ experience in the Marine & Maritime Shipping Industries, Maritime Training, Wind Farm Sector and Consultancy.

Vessel Inspections
With an in-depth knowledge of heavy lift, dive support, platform supply, ERRV and anchor handling, as well as various commercial vessels, services include:
- Accredited OVID Inspector.
- Experienced in surveys of various vessel types for their Condition, Pre-Purchase, ISM, Suitability, Client Specific and P&I inspections.
